The 2023 Conference

The 2023 Female Athlete Conference took place in person at the Seaport Hotel in Boston, MA on June 14-16th, with a pre-conference event on June 13th.

The hybrid summit featured a virtual option from June 23-July 21st that gave attendees on-demand access to all mainstage and track sessions from the in-person event.

Session topics included bone stress injuries, intersectionality, REDs, postpartum return to sport, ACL tears in female athletes, mental health, and more. In total, the 2023 Female Athlete Conference attracted nearly 1,500 registrants from 42 countries.

We hosted our first pre-conference event in partnership with the Flagpole Hill Fund, at the Harry Parker Boathouse, Brighton MA. The Pre-Conference offered an opportunity to meet expert researchers and clinicians and allowed attendees to take a deeper dive into methods for conducting studies in athletic girls and women and how to translate up-to-date information into optimal, interdisciplinary clinical care.
